Light at the end of the tunnel

March 23rd seems such a long time ago and the emotions I’ve had since that day have been like a rollercoaster!

During the 9 week period there have been tears of joy and pain, having the young adults back from University doing tik tok videos, to then wondering when the next event would take place!  And it probably took about 4 weeks to get a real handle on the situation….(just after I stopped watching the daily updates which caused me more anxiety than I needed!)

So at that point, I really started to look at the business in order to plan for the restart, but in a ‘new world’ of safety procedures for both our own staff and attendees at events. Which has now led to writing new BAGP policy documents on how we will engage.

And we also started a new Linkedin group – Oxford Events Real Chat – madeup  of varying influential event professionals and venues across Oxfordshire with the objective of having a consistent message for delivering events in the new era.

So heading for a restart date of the 1st of July BAGP will have a comprehensive new working procedure for the safety of our staff and clients.
